July 18 Two vehicles parked at a business on the river in Taylors Falls were gone through and windows broken to gain entry. Incident reported about 10:40 a.m.

County and Lakes Area Police were sorting out several reports of stolen golf carts over last week, with a number turning up on wayside roads, and ditches.

Friday, July 16 Lakes Area got a break and apprehended two juveniles in rural Chisago City, caught with a stolen golf cart and fishing equipment.

July 15 a K9 unit from the county was called into service to keep watch at an address on Redwing Avenue, at 2:20 p.m. in Shafer. Authorities were taking in a male on an assault charge and wanted to be prepared if he decided to flee.   

A motorcycle operator put his bike down on County Road 14,  at Lanesboro Way about 7:40 p.m. A leg injury required transport.
Theft of an ATV Polaris “Magnum” reported from a property in Lent Township. It was parked on the property.

July 14 cars were gone through on Mentzer Trail, Lindstrom.

Lakes Area Police delivered two dogs to North Woods Humane Society last week, one was a black and white terrier mix with a red collar and one was an older yellow lab.
