In July of 2016 the CL Band trailer was severely damaged in a storm, since then the Band has used their small trailer to haul equipment to parades and events around the state. The new black 24 foot trailer is a replacement for the damaged unit, and has been so helpful carting all of the Marching Band’s instruments, banner, uniforms when needed, golf cart, water jugs, and snacks. The Marching Band and the trailer are the most visible activity at Chisago Lakes High School, regularly performing for several hundred thousand spectators every year in 10-12 parades around the metro, the Minnesota State Fair, and a Gopher Football halftime show. This past Fall, Frankies Marine offered to donate graphics for the new trailer, Copy Pro in Chisago City was tasked with the design and printing, and Brandon Kelley from Luther Automotive and the Lindstrom Fire Department installed the very large graphics on a hot day! CLMS Band Teacher Stephen Boal, with help from some students in the band - Aidan Jensen, Willow Nadeau, and Mr. Joe DeLisi (CLHS Band), built new removable storage carts to hold the instruments and later painted them. The Band has had the trailer pulled in the Karl Oskar Days parade and look forward to that happening consistently.

"We are looking for local Businesses to add their logo and information to our trailer as sponsors We have a limited number of spots and welcome you to contact Rich Frankson at (651) 470-3931 to secure a space," band reps said. "These ad spaces will be available for 2 years and are 10” x 30” in size. The funds raised with these sponsors will go directly to the Band Boosters and CL Band program to help fund the constant need for new and improved instruments, and new Band uniforms on a 10 year cycle. Additional fundraisers for instruments include a garage sale at the Lindstrom City Hall Community Center in November, bagging groceries at Cub Foods, a Mattress Sale, and more!"
