May 30 The county sheriff had  a report about 7:30 p.m.  of wolf spotted at an address on Fir Trail, Lent Township. Video taken by complainant shows injured animal not using one of its front legs. No animal located when law enforcement arrived.  There is a wildlife facility, in Anoka County west of I-35 that has reported wolves that got out of an enclosure last Thursday, May 27.  One wolf has been verified deceased, so three likely remain at-large.  Not known if this report is tied to the center.

Wolf sightings in the area near to Anoka County can be directed to the wildlife center at 651-464-3993.  There is no need to call 9-1-1 or seek police response unless there is a danger or property damage involved.

May 30 Lakes Area Police called to assist man who had to abandon leaky boat on North Lindstrom Lake. Call came in about 4 p.m. Picked him up on-shore and water patrol was notified.

May 28 Multiple citations were issued by deputies responding to compliant of a minor-aged drinking party at Kodiak Avenue, reported about 11:37 p.m.
A boat fell off its trailer on Hwy. 8 at East Avenue, Chisago City in middle of day. Tow was arranged.

May 26 A motorcycle caught fire at Andrews and Hwy. 8 Center City, about 2:45 p.m. No injury reported. Bike was left off the side of highway right of way to be collected later.

May 24 a suspect has been cited for dumping carpet into the container at Rush Point Store, outside of Rush City.

A deputy who had done a traffic stop earlier May 24, noticed some items in the stopped vehicle which were later reported as stolen in a fresh burglary. The suspect was tracked down and arrested, and is being charged in connection with the thefts from an apartment at Country Apartments, Rush City.
