Vehicle fire reported 9:13 a.m. at Chisago City by the Moberg park statue. Fire truck from Chisago City was already in position for a veterans fundraiser run and handled it.

September 30
A two vehicle crash at Morgan and Chisago Boulevard south of Lindstrom, reported about 9:30 a.m.  The vehicles one of which was southbound on Morgan crossing the county road and the other was eastbound—were pushed into the ditch after contact but no injuries were reported.

September 29
A student at Chisago Lakes High School was transported  after suffering a seizure, at approximately 10:40 a.m.
Lakes Area officers administered Narcan to a heroin overdose victim in a call to a Chisago City residence a little after midnight, and revived them, transported to St. Croix Hospital.

A deputy working a party at a wedding venue in the township on 256th, south of Chisago City, called for backup when a large potential fight seemed inevitable.  Cars stood by while the reception was cleared about 11:30 p.m.

September 28
Area first responders went to a construction site off Olinda Trail, in Lindstrom, on a call received at 4:28 p.m. of a man trapped in a trench. The man was declared dead before he could be transported by air ambulance.  The victim was identified as David Chiemelewski, 48 of Carlton, MN. He owned the firm that was building the apartments on this location. The Press tried to follow up for a company statement but was unsuccessful in reaching anyone at the offices for Blackhoof Development.

Theft of car from shop in Harris on 437th Street reported.
