September 19
Several Lindstrom area fire departments went to a fire that was reported to have engulfed a detached garage, at an address on Lakelawn Drive, and was threatening the nearby dwelling. Call came in about 4:20 p.m. (See photo right.)

September 17
Lakes Area Police recovered a stolen car at an address on Lake Boulevard, reported as suspicious.  A 30-year-old male was arrested for the theft.

September 15
If you have a mail carrier working in the northern part of the Center City post office routes— you can expect to probably be missing some items. The carrier went off the road about 4:50 p.m. at Park Trail and 368th and the crash scattered some of the post office delivery. Driver was able to get herself out of the vehicle, but was airlifted with injuries. The SUV was southbound on Park Trail and snapped a powerpole and landed on its rooftop.

September 14
A Chisago Lakes High School student reportedly stole three fish from a tank and flushed them in the toilet. Charges are being reviewed. Incident reported to school resource officer about 1:40 p.m.

September 13
Unidentified person reported to be driving a UTV inside the SnoBarons Hay Days facility, Monday, following the annual motorsports events,  with a passenger aboard. Passenger injured with head laceration, and was transported by ambulance.  Driver facing charges of suspicion of driving under influence.

A 1 a.m. fire in a yard on Signe Street in Lindstrom was called in for toxic smell. Officer could find nobody attending to fire. Letter warning of ordinance violation sent.
