April 24
The Marathon gas station in Chisago City reported theft of money from register. Video surveillance is being reviewed.

A Rush City address was the scene of a domestic assault in progress, reported about 3:40 a.m.  The Pine and Isanti sheriff’s offices assisted in search with a K9 unit for male suspect who fled. The 31 year old was located and booked and charges are being evaluated.  Woman sustained serious facial injury.

A tree fell at Olinda and Glader in Lindstrom, reported about 9:15 p.m. Public works was dispatched to remove tree.

Lakes Area Police cited a 23-year-old for using colored lights on Hwy. 8 on his pickup truck. He was activating lights and vehicles would pull off to let him pass. Call came in describing offender about 6:30 p.m.

An overdose in Chisago City was reversed using Narcan (naloxone) administered about 4:45 a.m. Revived subject was taken to hospital.

April 23
Fallen tree at Norelius Lane in Lindstrom took out powerline. Firefghters and Xcel handled without incident. Call came in about 7:50 p.m.
A firepit at an address on Matthew Drive, Chisago City contained prohibited materials. Lakes Area Police had owner put fire out and ordered materials to be cleaned up.

A nuisance home in Lindstrom on Andrews Avenue was visited by Lakes Area officer who informed property owner to get valid chicken keeping permit and remove accumulating debris and junk.

Stolen vehicle recovered when reported as abandoned at Woods Apartments in Chisago City.

Female yellow lab brought to Northwoods Humane Society as stray found near Meadowlark Lane, Lindstrom.

Chisago City public works employee observed truck over the five ton weight limit on East Viking and Ivywood, aboout 2 p.m.  Company operating truck was mailed a ticket.
