George Bisek, age 93 from Lindstrom. Born October 23, 1928 in New Prague and passed peacefully at home into the arms of Jesus on August 19, 2022. Proud Air Force veteran, avid fisherman, grower of prize-worthy tomatoes, cribbage, horseshoe and corn hole champ, he leaves a large void on North Lindstrom Lake and in Mesa, Arizona.

Survived by his grateful and devoted wife, Carol, loving daughter, Bonnie Holsworth (Larry Schlagel), sons Brian Bisek and Greg Bisek, stepchildren Kristie (Rich) Jastram and Steven (Julie) Ohmann, 8 adoring grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, Steven Bisek, brothers Leonard and Eugene Bisek, sister Judie Cervenka, son-in-law Chuck Holsworth, sisters-in-law Mae, Mavis and Mary Bisek, Judy Eberhard, brother-in-law Dan Cervenka.

Funeral Monday, August 29 with visitation from 10-11 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 28005 Old Towne Road, Chisago City (651-257-2713). Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Salvation Army. “What remains is love.”
