I was at the kids fishing tournament in the morning at Paradise Park and most kids were bringing up small sunfish, all of the sudden here comes a boy carrying what looked like a 20 inch walleye. It was hilarious - the entire tournament just kind of stopped and appeared in awe.
The parade on Sunday was great - long as usual and the fireworks were fantastic.
I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of the volunteers who worked so hard to make this such a great town event. Thanks to Doris and the Parks Department for all of their countless hours spent on Ki Chi Saga Days.

Speaking of giving, we are taking donations for the homeless here at the Press. If you have gently worn adult clothing mainly fall and winter clothes, we will gladly take them off your hands. We have a couple of homeless shelters we donate to and guarantee the clothes will go directly to those in need. They recently told us that they are in dire need of adult underwear and socks. So if you find yourself doing a little fall cleaning, keep us in mind. Items can be dropped off here at the Press.
For those of you who don’t know where we are located, we are next to the very much talked about Dinerbel/Meredees building.
