John Jay Freeman, 87, of  Chisago City, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Cerenity Senior Care, White Bear Lake, Minnesota with his wife and family at his side.

John was born on November 30, 1934 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, the son of Lawrence and Mabel Freeman.

He grew up in Chisago City and graduated from Chisago City High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He attended the University of Minnesota where he met his wife of 64 years, Patricia Ann Ward of Cambridge, Minnesota. They married in 1958, and were blessed with four children. They resided in the Minneapolis suburbs, and eventually Chisago City.
