December 3 a two vehicle crash near Hwy. 8 and County Road 14 intersection. Two drivers hurt but not seriously. Authorities are ticketing one for failing to drive with due caution. Reported about 10 p.m.

December 1
A suspected natural gas leak at Lindstrom address, reported about 11:40 p.m. Possibly stove burner left open.
Specialty teams dispatched to a scene in Lindstrom about 2:50 a.m. Suicidal male and juveniles inside residence. Firearm thought to be present.  Juveniles were removed without incident, subject returned to calm and agreed to stay safe.
Leaf burning complaint at Chisago City address about 1:30 p.m.  Leaf piles can not be burned in the urban areas, they generate too much smoke. You are advised to create a yard compost pile, transport them to the community compost site or mulch/ mow and leave in lawn.

November 29
A Rush City apartment dweller reported theft of items delivered to residence on 10th Street.  Customer was notified of delivery at 2:30 p.m.
Theft from Shafer mini-storage facility,   log spliter and tires among missing items.
