Diana Lawrence
Born on April 4, 1945 in Brainerd, MN to Alfred and Alida (Engebritson) Damm. Diana grew up in North Branch, MN and she married her high school sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Lawrence on July 14, 1962. For many years, Diana stayed home to care for her children and later worked for Fredrick Willys Pool Tables, Schaper Toy Factory, and Fashion Bug. In addition, she loved to crochet, knit, read, paint, and garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; sisters;Audrey, Yvonne, and Nina; brother Duane; father Alfred; mother Alida; infant son Kirk Douglas, and many aunts, uncles, and in-laws.
She is survived by her four loving daughters; Kris Lawrence-Anderson (Gary), Kim Lester (Bob), Karen Bozvay, and Kori Engstrom (Troy) as well as nine grandchildren; Kirk and Halley Anderson, Joseph (Gina), Rebecca, and Alexander (aka Buck) Lester, and Molly Fassberger (Bozvay), Hunter, and Logan Bozvay, Carson Engstrom; and two great granddaughters, Taelynn and Aubrey Lester.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Diana’s honor. Grace Hospice provided comfort and care during the final days of her life. Diana regularly donated to Make-a-Wish Foundation, and St. Jude Hospital. Feel free to wear pink as it was Diana’s favorite color.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church (37515 Park Trail) in Almelund with Rev. Justin Fenger officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday, December 27th. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
