December 16
A suspect fled a crash scene at Lofton Avenue and County Road 14 after missing stop sign and driving through and striking a guardrail on the opposite side of the intersection. A K9 unit came out and tracked the suspect and an arrest was made on suspicion of DUI.

Lakes Area Police are involved in an investigation of nude photos being sent by phone involving a juvenile. School district is cooperating and county attorney will see the case for charges.
Chisago City Fire responded to a transformer fire at Old Towne Road and Lincoln Street, reported about 1 a.m. Xcel assisted.
