Beverly Johnson
Beverly was born in Taylors Falls, Minnesota on August 16, 1935 to John and Florence Gustafson.
In 1945, John bought the Jericho School House near Palmdale, Minnesota and made it their home. Beverly graduated from Taylors Falls High School Class of 1953. She met the love of her life Russell Johnson who was from Milltown, Wisconsin while serving his country in the Air Force. Russell was stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia.
Russ and Bev got married in 1954 at the First Lutheran Church in Taylors Falls. They made Valdosta, Georgia (near the base) their home. In 1956, while in Georgia, their first child was born. Also in 1956, they moved to Lindstrom and bought the Phillips 66 Station where Beverly did much of the bookkeeping. They ran the service station for 40 years.
Beverly was involved in the church for many years, serving on the Altar Guild. She was an avid snowmobile rider back in the day. She always liked watching the Twins and Vikings. She loved socializing with friends and family and playing card games.
In her later years she would always be watching church services on TV because she had a hard time getting around. She was a great woman of faith.
