Chisago County is proposing to extend CSAH 17 (Athens Trail) as a two-lane rural roadway from CSAH 30 (Forest Boulevard) on the west to CSAH 14 (Lincoln Road) on the east in Lent Township, Chisago County. The project will also construct single-lane roundabouts at the CSAH 17 (Athens Trail) intersections with CSAH 30 (Forest Boulevard) and CSAH 14 (Lincoln Road).

The Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) describes the proposed action, impacts and mitigation. The EAW is available for public review during the public comment period, December 27, 2022, through January 26, 2023. The EAW can be viewed on the Proposed Future Projects Tab of the Public Works Road Construction Page.
