Package stolen from address on 242nd in Chisago Lake Township. Makeup items were in the box left at maildrop. Other mail thefts were reported same day to nearby Lakes Area Police.
A deputy pursuit was undertaken when a vehicle near Thrush Ave. and Hwy. 8 in Shafer Township fled while a traffic stop for equipment malfunction, was being initiated about 1:25 a.m. Polk County authorities in Wisconsin deployed stopsticks and halted the vehicle and the driver ran. Polk County brought him in and he is facing alleged possession of paraphernalia and other potential charges.

Theft reported from a Fish Lake Township building site, tools taken. Authorities are reviewing field cameras with footage of suspicious activity in wee morning hours of two days.

Report of a missing tennis bracelet, which complainant thinks was taken when a duct cleaning crew was in the house weeks ago. She said she has tried to work with the company with no success.
