January 9
Snowmobile overturned on 292nd Street, Lindstrom reported about 7 p.m. Female driver, 50, was transported.  Male passenger got a lift home from deputy.

January 8
Possible stabbing, victim resides in Chisago City, reported as a Center City incident however.  Man arrested as suspect is 44 years old.

January 7
Vehicle fire fully engulfed, location on Nottingham. Called in about 5:50 p.m. Nobody in car, appears to have skidded into ditch.

Garage fire on Oasis Road in Sunrise Township, reported about 8:45 p.m. Rekindled briefly the following day.

January 6
County squad car hit as it initiated a U-turn on Rush Lake Road at Driftwood,  to respond to a call. Citizen was on left side of squad in a no passing zone when it broadsided the county vehicle.

Crash at Pioneer Road and Hwy. 8 called in about 8:10 a.m.  One driver transported for medical care. Car was westbound, starting to turn left onto Pioneer, witness told law enforcement second vehicle missed red light and struck the other.

County plow truck was hit when a citizen car attempted to pass and knicked the front plow blade. Accident happened at Everton and Rush Lake Road about 5:50 a.m.  Citizen thought the plow had slowed to let him go around and did not see a turn signal activated.

January 5
Lakes Area Police involved in investigation of theft of several thousand dollars from Holiday in Lindstrom by an employee.

An erratic driver at Casey’s gas station near Shoquist and Hwy. 8 caught a Lakes Area patrol officer’s attention.  A 25-year-old male was stopped, and the F150 truck turned out to be stolen, and the plates were also stolen and were destroyed. Male was arrested.

January 4
Semi truck and car collided at Olinda and Hwy. 8 in Lindstrom about 10 a.m.  Appeared vehicle made a turn on a flashing yellow arrow, in front of semi truck which was eastbound through the intersection.  No personal injury reported.
