Sunday, January 16
House fire called in about 3 p.m. on Stark Road in Fish Lake Township.  No injuries, detailed report pending.

Wild River Mini storage unit had propane tank stolen and a camper was damaged.  About a dozen propane tanks were stolen from the Dollar Store in Harris too.  Locked fenced area was broken into. And, an address in Sunrise was being worked on by Xcel and propane heaters were set up to thaw ground, and those heaters were reported stolen last week.

January 15
Dog was shot while on neighboring property in Sunrise Township, on Keystone Avenue. Owner said injured dog was back home about 9 p.m. Deputy spoke with shooter and learned animal has chased livestock and when he spotted it that night, he wasn’t sure if it was a coyote or dog or wolf. Wound was from a .22 and dog will recover.

Snowmobile crashed on 530th Street Rushseba Township, reported a little after midnight.  One was transported and blood sample for DUI tests reported to confirm alcohol consumption.

January 14 alert sent of a power loss at Wildwood Campground, Taylors Falls. Manager/owner found electric power was shut-off and several seasonal campsite areas disturbed.

Thursday January 13
An unknown person was reported to be knocking on door about 10 p.m. at a residence  on Old Towne Road in Chisago City. Lakes Area Police responded and made arrest when 42-year-old male was uncooperative.

Four Chisago Lakes middle school incidents involving vaping devices on call sheet.  Three students are cited along with a 19 year old.

January 12
One citation issued at middle school for assault. Fight was between two students and was reported 10:45 a.m.

January 11
Four vehicles involved in crash at Jasper and Highway 8, reported bout 2:40 p.m, Lakes Area Police assisted with traffic control.  State Patrol did not have report immediately available.
