Complaint of an assault incident on one of the Chisago Chain of Lakes resulted in the county looking deeper into the evening’s progressive ice shack party activities, and making an arrest of a male charged for providing alcohol to minors.

January 21
Vandalism of windows at Franconia Sculpture Park building, outside of Taylors Falls. Glass replacement is a few hundred dollars.

Crash took out a utility pole at Morgan Court and Morgan Avenue. Deputies responding found abandoned vehicle and are trying to determine the driver.  Reported about 11 p.m.  Lindstrom Fire Department and Xcel crews were dispatched to take care of the downed powerline.

Lakes Area Police administered NARCAN to revive a suspected overdose victim.

Over the week police and sheriff personnel handled numerous vehicles off the road from poor weather and icy conditions. Overnight on street parking violations continue in the cities.

Theft of a large Dewalt planer reported from a vehicle parked in Rush City.

Warrant arrest executed by Lakes Area Police on 22 year old female, residing at Lakeview Motel in Lindstrom and a child was taken to protective services.
