Robert Holm, of Luck, WI, passed away July 11, 2022 at the age of 86.
He was born on July 24, 1935 in Center City, MN to Carl and Irene (Olson) Holm. Robert grew up on a farm west of Taylors Falls, MN.  He graduated from Taylors Falls High School in 1955 and continued to work on his father’s farm after high school.  On July 6, 1957, he married Verna Petersen at West Denmark Lutheran Church in Luck, Wisconsin.

Robert and Verna had six children, while living in Shafer, MN.  They purchased a farm in Luck in 1966 where their children grew to adulthood.  Even though he had hard times in his life, he lovingly cared for and provided for his children.  Robert farmed until he retired in 1997.  Verna passed away in 2002, and Robert remained on the family farm until his passing.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Verna; his parents, Carl and Irene Holm; his sister and brother-in-law, Ramona and Bob Olson; and his grandson Brent Johnson.

Robert is survived by his children, Brian (Dawn) Holm, Kevin (Barbara) Holm, Jack (Penny) Holm, Robin (Dale) Mattson, Beverly (Kenneth) Bystrom, and Gary (Chris) Holm; his 17 grandchildren; his 32 great-grandchildren; his brother Leo (Donna) Holm; his sister Linda Taylor (Charles); his girlfriend Micky Kilmer; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at West Denmark Lutheran Church in Luck, WI on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 2 PM, officiated by Pastor Linda Rozumalski.
