Memorial Day Monday, May 30 storms hit all over Minnesota.  By Tuesday, May 31 at 1 p.m. East Central Energy reported crews were still working hard to restore power to 165 Chisago County households without electricity.  ECE information said the Milaca area was hardest hit in their service area and a total of 300 sites were without power still on Tuesday.

ATV crash reported at 258th Street, Chisago Lake Township, about 6:55 p.m. Female driver taken to hospital by Lakes Region EMS. No report details available.

Theft from vehicle reported at East Rush Lake access. Window was broken for entry. Stereo speakers and paintball gun missing.

The vehicle parts store in Lindstrom near Arby’s,  was damaged when a vehicle crashed into the east side of the building about mid-day.  Lakes Area Police reported the driver, 51, had a medical episode and lost control of the car, but is not believed to have been hurt seriously. Nobody inside the store received injury.
