Beth Olson (Nee: Johnson), age 66 of Shafer, formerly of Lake Elmo passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from a brain aneurysm. She was born in St. Paul, MN and graduated from Johnson High School.

Beth enjoyed working with the senior community and caring for others as a Personal Care Attendant. She also enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, David Dowell. Together they traveled to South Padre Island every year, and went fishing and camping.  She also loved dogs and will be missed by her beloved, Sophie.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Bernice Johnson and brother Jerry Johnson.

Survived by her twin brother Robert (Gloria) Johnson; sisters Mary LaValley and Margaret (John) Beckius; daughters Sadie (Jess) Nelson and Heidi Anderson; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held for family and friends in the spring.
