Local Girl Scouts collect for Troops from Minnesota
Girl Scout cookie season 2022 has just ended. This year the girls learned how to run a successful business despite the challenges of supply chain shortages. They faced a peanut butter shortage that affected the availability of two kinds of cookies. A shortage caused by lack of packaging impacted two more varieties. The girls persevered and collected more cookies for donation this year than they did in 2021, collecting close to 500 more boxes for donations! Thank you to all of the customers who supported them and who donated cookies to Treats for Troops from Minnesota. Girls across the Mid Du Lac service unit (Chisago Lakes Area) from troops 56332, 56329, 57764, 57426, 57664, 57663, 57926, 57765, 57939, 58114, 58290, 58251 and 58242 collected 1,370 packages of cookies this year to be distributed through Treats for Troops from Minnesota, to thank the men and women serving our country.
