A quick and dramatic rise in air temperature and strong winds wreaked havoc on the Chisago Lakes Area, Monday this week,  from Chisago City- Lindstrom to Taylors Falls. Hundreds of trees were downed in the region, creating a long day and night of work for power restoration crews.  According to staff, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation campus employees in Center City were told in excess of 100 trees fell.  Above,  is a view looking south on Olinda Trail at the high school in Lindstrom.
