A quick and dramatic rise in air temperature and strong winds wreaked havoc on the Chisago Lakes Area, Monday this week, from Chisago City- Lindstrom to Taylors Falls. Hundreds of trees were downed in the region, creating a long day and night of work for power restoration crews. According to staff, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation campus employees in Center City were told in excess of 100 trees fell.
