Don was born to Joseph and Inez (James) LeVasseur on February 16, 1936 in St. Paul. He married the love of his life Carol (Osen) on September 24, 1955.
Don and Carol raised eight children; Dave (Chris), Ken (Kamla), Deb (Kent), Sandy, Mike (Jill), Lynn (Marv), Kathy (Mike) and Kurt (Katie).
Don is survived by his wife Carol, his eight children, 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, five siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Taylors Falls. Visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow service at Franconia Cemetery in Franconia Township.
