The county sheriff’s personnel dealt with a number of crashes during times of inclement weather, and no serious injury was reported at any of the scenes.
November 16
A female was seen lying on or along the freeway near the 4th Street bridge at Rush City around 9:15 a.m. The state patrol is the primary responder. We did not hear back regarding a request for incident details. The county squads aided with medical transport. She was unresponsive but breathing.
November 17
About 10:15 p.m. a vehicle encountered a grouping of cows on Stark Road in Fish Lake Township. Owner was located and helped account for all his animals. No injury to driver. On Nov. 15 six pigs were on the roadway at Forest Boulevard and 490th in Rushseba Township. Deputy was able to round them up into enclosure nearby.
