Lakes Area Police took a report of an assault at an address on Newell Avenue in Lindstrom. Parties were seperated for the night and no information available on extent of any injury. County Attorney will review for charges.  Reported about 10:40 p.m.

A counterfeit $10 bill was received for purchase at the farmers market.

Theft of deli food at Brink’s Market, officer is investigating license plate  data tied to car used to flee.

The Shafer Meadows park porta-potty was vandalized. Suspect has been determined.

A crash on Hwy. 95 and 263rd  in Franconia Township, at 3:50 p.m.  State patrol had no report available.

Use of force likely needed at an address in the City of North Branch.  Deputies and police responded, one male was transported.  Updated information from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and North Branch police chief in story on page one.

ATV crash at Cedarcrest Trail and Stark Road in Fish Lake Township, 7 p.m. One was transported for care and a blood alcohol test.

A toy knife was taken by a bus driver from a youth headed for Primary School, Chisago City. Parents were notified.

Thefts from property on Game Avenue in Rushseba Township, chainsaw and fishing equipment.

Car fire destroyed vehicle pulled off the road near the state prison, Rush City. Incident called in about 8 a.m.  Driver unhurt.

Second vehicle set on fire in a field off Itasca Avenue, rural Chisago City, in two years.  Property owner says vehicle was a junker, had no idea how fire started.

Home on Preserve Blvd., Chisago City hit by a bullet. Officer documented with camera. Nobody hurt.
Five citations total for youth with vape devices at Chisago Lakes High School over the week.
