Tom Alldritt and son Kyle stood for a photo beside their restoration project, in South Green Lake Cemetery, rural Chisago City. The cross was originally salvaged from what was left when the original Zion Lutheran Church burned in 1908.  The church was established in 1895.  

This cross was in need of some 100 hours of TLC, which the Alldritt team accomplished in recent months.  

The Alldritts have family and friends and fellow congregation members  buried at the cemetery and visit frequently.  Photo to right, shows workshop setting where Tom and Kyle worked on the project.  Pastor Sarah Kerkes (bottom left) presided over re-dedication last week.
