The students pictured were recognized for their gratitude while the USAF 148th Fighter Wing was serving abroad earlier this year.  These students donated and assembled nearly 300 snack packs for the 148th FW.  Each snack pack contained items such as jerky, beef sticks, chips, nuts, and water flavoring.  Students also included notes of encouragement as well as copies of our local newspaper.  Students were allotted time to visit with two of the soldiers who received their snack packs.  CMS Ryan Gigliotti and CMS Jeffrey Pinger answered questions about being in the service.
