CORRECTION: Cambridge-Isanti Superintendent not at Koran meeting

In our print edition March 30 there is a wrap-up from a forum local Senator Mark Koran held with constituents in Chisago Lake Town Hall.

We refer to a give and take between the senator and a person in the audience, who we mis-identified as superintendent for Cambridge-Isanti School District. The man, a resident of Wyoming MN is employed with Robbinsdale School District but he was addressing data he gleaned from a legislative assessment by the C-I District superintendent.

The superintendent saw the print story and let us know he did not attend this meeting. He has spoken with the senator about concerns with the same issue raised at the township hall— that the legislature needs to be aware any funding increases in the aid formula not be wiped out by new mandates in school spending.
