Cadillac Dinner has some space

The Chisago Lakes Lions Club is holding its very popular Cadillac Dinner May 6.  The fun-filled event will be held at the Uncommon Loon. It is their largest fundraiser of the year and, to be honest, probably the most fun event. There is a dinner along with drinks and set-ups. The event costs $150 per couple including a meal and $100 for those who wish not to have dinner.

They give away 100 raffle prizes with the top prize of $2,000. We won the grand prize one year and that paid for our driveway at our old house.

These Lions do so much for our community, you certainly have seen them in action either collecting food for the food shelf or picking up the ditches on the weekends. They are some of the kindest people in our community and we are lucky to have them. I hope to see you at the dinner!

Thanks for all of the homeless clothes donated so far! Lots of socks and underwear - which is exactly what they are in need of most. Keep them coming! We will ensure they get to the right people.
