We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of John Allen Laub on April 14, 2023, at the age of 72. John was born on April 9, 1951, and was a loving husband, father, stepfather, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his children; son John Laub (Shannon), daughter Amber Malinoski (Milt), daughter Tiffany Krogness (Kevin), and four stepsons, Scott Flikke, Jonathon Flikke, Michael Flikke, and Stephen Flikke, who he loved as his own. He was also a proud grandfather to several grandchildren and great grandchildren, who loved him dearly, his sisters Renata (Jack) Swanson and Denise (Paul) Atkinson, and his beloved dog Wrangler. He was preceded by his parents John Roger Laub and Mary Lou Miller.

John's love knew no bounds, and he was a devoted father and stepfather. He loved his stepsons as his own and was always there to support and guide them. John's love and compassion extended beyond his family to his friends and community. He was a kind, generous, and selfless person who touched the lives of many.

John had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors and could often be found on the dance floor or camping, hiking, or fishing with his children and stepchildren. He was also a sports fan and enjoyed watching games with his family and friends.

John's passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends that cannot be filled. He will always be remembered for his love of life, his infectious smile, and his kind heart. We will miss him dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.

A celebration of John's life will be held on a future date.
