On an unseasonably warm and windy day, the Chisago Lakes Wildcats had no problem dispatching the North Branch Vikings 7-0 in boys tennis. The match took place on Thursday, April 13 at North Branch’s home courts. 

The Wildcats got a handful of quick wins, and that set the pace and tone for the night. Rhivers Sauter cruised over Gabe Wurdemann at second singles, 6-0, 6-0. CL’s Will Hennen and Jacob Peterson also got a flawless victory at second doubles, winning 6-0, 6-0 over Magnus Toussaint and Michael Thao.

The Brink brothers, Aaron and Caleb, earned a fast win at third doubles, winning 6-1, 6-0 over North Branch’s Tyler Schneidewind and Zack Rustan.

Other wins for the Wildcats came from a 6-3, 6-1 win atfirst singles from senior captain Abe Olson, a 6-1, 6-3 victory from Will Walker at third singles, a 6-4, 6-1 victory from Nolan Levasseur at fourth singles, and a quick 6-1, 6-0 point on the rackets of Eddie Kern and Jack Hanson in first doubles.
