LuElla Ethel Abress of Buhl, Minnesota passed away at Cornerstone Villas Nursing Facility in Buhl, Minnesota on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the age of 86 years.  LuElla was born August 5, 1937 to parents Martin and Doris (Carlson) Ruffcorn in Wyoming, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Fredmond (Fred) Abress Jr. on August 28, 1952.  

She is survived by her five children; Kathy (Mike) Salminen, Fred Abress III, Randy (Dorothy) Abress, John Abress, Pam (Steve) Gooding; 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred and great-grandchild Trent Salminen; siblings Clem, Shirley, Richard, Veva, Annette, Floyd, and Lois.  She is the last one in her family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at First United Methodist Church in Lindstrom, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.   A private interment will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minnesota.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com
