Carbon monoxide alarm sounding at address on Ivywood Trail about 5 a.m. The Chisago City fire department and Lakes Area Police Department made sure all inhabitants were outside and cleared the dwelling for hazard. No injury reported.

December 15

Hit and run damage at an address at County Road 14 and Hwy. 8, reported about 9 p.m.  The suspect in the vehicle that hit the other vehicle was followed and arrested on suspicion of DUI. No serious injury reported.

Explosion reported near 275th in rural Chisago City.  Officer unable to find the location and no other reports were called in.

A property on Morningside Court reportedly had nuisance outdoor storage items accumulating.  Lakes Area officers are working with the property owner.

18-year-old student at Chisago Lakes High School cited for possession of vaping device in the school.
