Ethel Kathleen “Kathie” Kempenich of Chisago City, formerly of St. Paul. Born Jan. 10, 1935, died Dec. 6, 2023. We all have our own stories of her incredible kindness and support; we were lucky to have her in our lives.

Kathie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Kempenich, and her daughter Melodee Dorr. She is survived by her sons Randy (Cheryl), Joe (Lorri), Jerry (Jen), and Jeffrey (Kristi); son-in-law Del Dorr; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; brother James Aurandt, nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

Funeral will be at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church at 13060 Lake Blvd, Lindstrom, MN 55045 on Friday, January 12, 2024.  Visitation will start at 10 AM at St. Bridget.  Funeral will start at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget.  Luncheon will be after the funeral in the St. Bridget Social Hall.
