Christmas Day, about 11:20 a.m. the 9-1-1 communications center for Chisago County received a call from a male who alleged he wanted to hurt his mother and then noise that sounded like gunshots could be heard in the background of the call.  The address provided was on Pioneer Road in the City of Wyoming and a number of local departments helped Wyoming Police in responding.

Chief, Neil Bauer, thanked Lakes Area, North Branch, Forest Lake police and Washington and Chisago counties’ law enforcement for their on-scene and initial investigation assistance. The call turned out to be a false report, there was nobody at the address provided who was hurt or who made the report.  Chief Bauer said charges are pending the outcome of further investigation. 

December 22 a report of house on fire about 6:20 p.m.  Location in Franconia Township, Quinlan Road. Three departments responded, nobody hurt and occupant was outside okay. Air fryer is being looked at as cause.
