February 3 an “altercation” happened at a basketball game at the Chisago Lakes Middle School. Lakes Area Police looked into the video provided and did interviews and the discipline was left up to the school.

Many trespass citations were issued to keep people from returning to commercial establishments in the Lakes Area service territory. Harrassing behavior, theft from the stores and other actions trigger the do not trespass orders.

County and city police brought in multiple persons wanted on warrant.

A counterfeit $50 bill was reported at a Lindstrom business. Secret Service has the case.

A Rush City vehicle repair shop reported finding two VIN tags in a car they were working on. Car was towed by an outside investigating agency and vehicle is believed to have originated in California.
