The Chisago Lakes dance team got the opportunity to perform on the Target Center floor for the state meet again, and they gave it everything they had and left it all out on the floor!

Although the girls didn’t get the results they wanted, they still had a blast. The ‘Cats fell short of their goals of making it to the finals in each category. They finished in 12th place in the Class AA Kick category, and 11th place in the Class AA Jazz event. The top five teams moved on to the finals in each discipline.
Mound Westonka won the Kick state title in Class AA.

CL’s section mate Totino-Grace finished in second place.

In the Jazz event, Orono won the state title while CL’s other section competition, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, earned second place.
