She was a graduate of Forest Lake High School, class of 1973, and also attended Columbia Heights Senior High School.
Linda was a 40-year employee of HealthEast Care Systems –– Department of Health Information Services Cancer Registry –– at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN.
Linda thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family. During the last several years, she and husband Ken experienced much of what the Northwoods has to offer at their cabin on Lake Vermilion.
Linda and Ken had several close friends, and they enjoyed spending time with them.
Linda was a technology enthusiast and enjoyed learning about all the new gadgets from her son, Barry.
She was a shopper and could spend hours going from store to store with her daughter, Jill. Sometimes they’d be gone all afternoon and come home with a minimal amount of goods –– these trips were really just about the company.
Her two grandchildren, Benjamin and Ruth, were very close to her heart –– she was an integral part of their early years.
She leaves behind her mother, Marilyn Pearson, of Center City; husband Ken, of Wyoming; daughter Jill (Derrick), of North Branch; son Barry (Allison), of Brooklyn Park; and grandchildren Benjamin and Ruth.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Pearson, of Lindstrom, and brother Thomas Pearson, of Stacy.
Services will be communicated to family and friends at a later date.
