Chad Brommer
Chad was born at Chisago Lakes Hospital on March 29 (Easter Sunday), 1970 to Stanley and Mary Brommer. He was baptized at Faith Lutheran and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church.
His childhood activities included camping trips on land and water and many fun visits to grandparents and cousins. He grew up by lakes and many water activities were enjoyed. The family deer hunting events were also treasured.
He developed many close and enduring friendships during his school years and into adulthood. His many activities in high school included golf team and jazz band, playing the trombone.
In 1993, he met and married Dawn Jorgenson, the love of his life. Dawn was very successful in private business and is presently on leave from teaching various business classes.
Chad was a personal banker and later a stay-at-home dad to their three children: Lauren, 14, Jacob, 18, and Brandon, 24.
He dearly loved his children and enrolled them in many activities including academic honors and hockey for Lauren and Jacob and recently enjoyed a plane ride piloted by son, Brandon, currently a flight instructor. Chad dearly loved family travel and cruises to many parts of the world. He also enjoyed family trips to the lake cabin in Cross Lake, MN, where they also entertained family and friends and he refined his cooking abilities.
Chad was able to attend his own Celebration of Life on December 16 at Westbridge Church in St. Michael, which was attended by hundreds of family members and friends. He was laid to rest in a private burial at Pinewood Cemetery in Cross Lake on December 21, 2022.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Dawn, his children, Lauren, Jacob, and Brandon, his parents Stan and Mary, his brother Daren (Melissa, son Cailer), aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and his beloved Goldendoodles Bella and Harley.
