Report of a vintage car catching fire in an outbuilding in Sunrise, about 11 a.m.

A female got her arm stuck in a car door, in an apartment garage in Rush City.  The car had been parked but went out of gear and hit the back garage wall and was still running when deputies arrived about 11:45 a.m.  The woman was freed when the window was smashed by a responder.  She was transported for medical care.

Lakes Area Police received calls concerned about a Facebook post. The subject’s Lindstom address was located and the male was transported on a health & welfare hold to Fairview Riverside.

Plow driver hit an electrical wire and blew a transformer in Chisago City on 295th about 4:30 a.m. Xcel notified.

Complaint of nude photos involving Chisago Lakes Middle schoolers being shared electronically. Lakes Area Police has under investigation.

January 5
High schooler picked up by parent after staff alerted adult the student was under the influence at 8 a.m.  

Chisago Middle School student treated for cuts, transported by guardian at approximately 2:20 p.m. Injury believed self-inflicted. Razor blade was confiscated.
