Dwayne Kelley
Dwayne was born in St. Paul, MN to Maitland and Irene (Irmiter) Kelley. He graduated from Sibley High School in 1958. Dwayne proudly served the Navy aboard the USS Saratoga (CVA60).
On October 26th, 1963, Dwayne married the love of his life, Judith Ann St. Sauver at St. Pascal’s Catholic Church. They moved to Lindstrom, MN in 1970 where he dedicated his life, heart and energy in guiding his family. He was a member of the Lindstrom volunteer Police Reserve. He retired from 3M after 33 years.
Dwayne was a very compassionate, determined man always working on projects, with the ability to solve any problem. He loved the outdoors, gardening, and knowledge of home remedies (and was an encyclopedia of knowledge.) Dwayne will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted religious man who spent hours reading the bible, researching and adding details to his family’s ancestry record.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, Maitland and Irene, sister Colleen Marie Kelley, and brother-in-law Axel White.
Dwayne is survived by his wife Judy; children Theresa Althaus and Joel Severson of Stillwater MN, Dwayne Jr. and Donna Kelley of Stacy MN, Christine and Mike Nieznanski of Mesa AZ; Dwayne’s four sisters: Janelle White, Barbara Traw (Glenn), Valerie Peterson (Greg), Monica Kovalchuck (Mark); 12 grandchildren Alex, Lauren, Hayley, Anders, Michael, Steven, Jason, Brian, Amanda, Alyssa, Louis, Danielle; 17 great grandchildren and countless family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial is preferred to St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church and St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Caribou, land donated by Dwayne’s ancestors.
