In a non-league game, the Bulldogs lost to the Andover Huskies 6-5 in 11 innings. The game was played Monday, June 19 at Oakey Park in Osceola.
The Bulldogs trailed 1-0 going into the bottom of the third. With runners on first and second and two outs, Josh Von Feldt lined a ball over the head of the Huskie left fielder, and it bounce all the way to the 385 sign in deep left center. Two runs scored as Von Feldt slid into third with a triple, and the Bulldogs led 2-1. With the score unchanged, Jack Boeck singled to lead off the bottom of the fifth. He got caught off first by a pickoff throw but beat the throw to second for a stolen base. Reece Berner dropped down a bunt and beat it out as the throw sailed past first. Boeck scored, and Berner went all the way to third. He later scored on a sacrifice fly to left by Dusty Rhodes, and the Bulldogs led 4-1.

The Bulldogs got a two-out single from Bailey Kasprowicz in the bottom of the eleventh. Berner swung at the first pitch he saw and hit what looked like a harmless pop foul near the first base dugout. But the Huskie pitcher raced toward the ball, dove flat out, and snared the ball to end the game.

Chisago Lakes 11, East Bethel 2
Adam Brown threw six shutout innings and Ryan Sanvik drove in four runs, including an inside the park home run, as the Bulldogs crushed East Bethel 11-2 Monday, June 26 at Oakey Park in Osceola.
With the game still scoreless and two outs in the bottom of the second, Sanvik hit a fly ball to deep left center, over the left fielder’s head. It would have gone over the fence at just about any ballpark in Minnesota, but it hit about 20 feet short of the wall and rolled to the 385 sign. The speedy Sanvik raced around the bases as the left fielder retrieved the ball. As Sanvik rounded third and headed for home, it looked like the relay throw might have a chance to get him. But the catcher had to come about 25 feet up the line to get the throw. He missed the tag as Sanvik blazed past him, and Sanvik crossed the plate with his first career home run for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs scored four more runs in the bottom of the third. Reed Marquardt singled and stole second with one out. In the fifth, Wilkey drove in a run with a double and scored when Sanvik reached on an error. In the sixth, Jack Boeck grounded the ball through the hole on the left side of the infield and hustled to second for a double. He moved to third as the throw to second skipped past the second baseman and scored on a sacrifice fly by Stilp to make the score 8-0. In the top of the eighth, two runs scored when Bailey Kasprowicz reached on a throwing error by the third baseman, and, after Zingerman singled, Kasprowicz scored on a single to right center by Sanvik to make the score 11-2.
