David Roy Stream, 69, of Center City, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on June 14, 2023, after a short illness.  

David was born on August 6, 1953, to Ted and Vi (Golden) Stream and grew up on the family farm in Shafer, MN. 

He graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 1971 and went on to study Electrical Technology at Northwestern Electronics University where he graduated in 1973.  

He went on to work as an Electronic Technician for Control Data in Arden Hills and General Dynamics in Bloomington until his retirement.  During his career, David was fortunate for the opportunity to travel.  He traveled to Norway, Australia, England, China, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, and Germany.  He also travelled to many military bases in the U.S. 

On May 11, 1974, he married the love of his life, Beverly Kennedy and they were blessed with four children: Nathan, Melissa, Mark, and Kevin.  

In his free time, he loved spending time with family and enjoyed his 100-acre hobby farm with beef cattle.  The farm was the second love of his life.  

David is survived by his wife, Beverly (Kennedy) Stream; children Nathan Stream of Center City, MN, Melissa Hofman (Henry) of Forest Lake, MN, Mark (Briana) Stream of Shafer, MN, Kevin Stream of Center City, MN, grandchildren; Courtney Stream (Khrystiyan), Lexi Miner, Jillian Stream, Owen Hofman, Stella Hofman, Paxton Seracki, Allyson Stream, Braden Stream, Adriana Stream and Brody Stream, Siblings; Shirley (Larry) Knopf of Lindstrom, MN, Lloyd (Linda) Stream of Lindstrom, MN, Lee (Darlene) Stream of Stacy, MN, Darryl (Gayle) Stream of Pine City, MN, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

David is preceded in death by his parents; Ted and Vi (Golden) Stream. 

A Celebration of life will be held from noon to 4pm, Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the Shafer Town Hall, 18259 St. Croix Trail, Taylors Falls, MN, 55084.
