Pamela Sellman Hanson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 27, 2023, her loving husband next to her. She touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and an everlasting legacy.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Craig Hanson; her devoted son, Brad Oehme and daughter-in-law Karen Oehme, who brought immense joy into her life, and also, her grandson, Evan, held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment spent with him. She shared a special bond with her stepchildren, Alexa and Brennan.
Born to parents, Glen and Norma Sellman; with deep pride and affection, Pamela had a great relationship with her siblings Terry, Patricia, and Susan, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She remained friends with her first husband Blake Oehme.
Pamela's warm presence, kind heart, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota and remained close with her “Garden Club” and many girlfriends. She made friends everywhere she went.
A memorial service celebrating Pamela's life will be held July 8, 2023, from 1-4 p.m. at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church, located at 1 Summit Ave in Center City, Minnesota. This will be an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to gather and honor Pamela's memory, sharing stories and finding solace in the love she left behind.
Pamela was preceded in death by her Mother and Father as well as brothers Craig and David.
While her departure has left a void in our hearts, her spirit will forever shine brightly. May we find comfort in the memories we shared with her and the love she bestowed upon us.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Pamela's honor to a charity of your choice. Let us remember Pamela Sellman Hanson as a remarkable woman whose life brought happiness, compassion, and love to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
