Reports of open water on South Center Lake were looked into for possible man made causes. The  joint sewer commission heard at its  meeting this week there is no leak in the wastewater piping system on the lakebed.  The cause of the open water site is believed to be a small spring in the area.

Sunday, February 26 a citizen told dispatch a private company plow truck struck a light standard, and left the scene about 10 p.m. at Linden and Highway 8 in Lindstrom. There was a follow-up call later by the company reporting the damages.

Saturday, February 25 Lakes Area Police responding to a welfare request found a broken toilet and standing water that had leaked into an apartment one floor down,  at Park Street in Lindstrom. Call came in about 10:45 p.m. and the apartment resident was transported for medical attention.

Chisago City firefighters were sent to clean up a crash site at Lofton and Highway 8 about 4:12 p.m.  No state patrol report available.

February 24 smoke reported from attic vents at an address on Green Lake Avenue, rural Chisago City. Report came in about 7:30 p.m. Chisago City firefighters handled the scene.

February 23 a plow truck for the city of Chisago City hit an RV parked at a lot on Lacy Avenue.  Incident happened at about noon.

February 22 a male snowmobiler was hurt when a snowmobile he was operating crashed into a garage in the Cedar Ridge neighborhood, Lindstrom,  and went through the wall. EMS transported him to Wyoming Medical Center.
