Roger Kenneth Robbins, age 72, of North Branch, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully May 18, 2023. Roger had a short and courageous battle with cancer and is now at peace.

Roger was born on December 19, 1950 to parents Kenneth and Eileen Robbins of North Branch, MN. After school Roger went on to be a truck driver. Roger found his love for trucking at an early age. He went on to be an over the road truck driver until his children were born. He then found his permanent career with Shafer Contracting. He held a couple different positions within the company and was nicknamed “Circle” by his work friends. Roger worked for Shafer Contracting until he retired at the age of 65. Anyone who knew Roger would know he loved to talk about trucks and was very proud of his career as a truck driver. After retirement Roger enjoyed traveling with his wife, Betty Robbins of 20 years. They enjoyed vacations to Mexico as well as winters in Arizona. Roger enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He could go anywhere and almost always run into someone he knew. He was a calm man with a contagious laugh and smile that will be always be remembered.

Roger is preceded in death by his father Kenneth C. Robbins, mother Eileen M. Robbins, sister Diane M. Johnson, brother-in-law Loren Johnson, and brother Charles J. Robbins. He is survived by his wife Betty Robbins. Children Michael Robbins and Billie Jo (Tom) Cubus; step children Melanie May, Chad Boyce, Dana Boyce, Angie (Pacer) Beaver, and Travis (Jordan) Boyce; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 24, at the American Legion in North Branch from 1-4 p.m.
