Connie F. Christensen, age 65, of Shafer, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2023.  She was born on July 18, 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents LeRoy and Jean (Corey) Holt. 

Early in life Connie enjoyed bowling which is where she met Tim, who later became her best friend and husband in 1981. In high school she found her love of banking but when Renee and Marie “Geo” arrived, her priorities changed and she became a work at home mother and found thrift shopping as a new hobby. Connie always loved baking and sharing her food with others and anyone who has tasted Connie’s food knows how much love she poured into it.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents LeRoy and Jean Holt; siblings Peggy Seaman and Ronald Holt; sisters-in-law Sue Berry and Diane Rekow; and nephew Mike Johnson.

Connie is survived by her husband Tim; her two children Renee and Marie “Geo”; her brother Michael (Jan) Holt; sisters-in-law Bonnie Holt and Nancy Johnson; brothers-in-law Larry Seaman, Van Thompson, and Dennis Berry; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She is loved and will be missed by so many.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindstrom, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.  Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom, Minnesota at a future date.
