Marian W. Plumley, age 99, of Lindstrom, MN passed away Wednesday, Oct 4, 2023 at the Comforts of Home in St. Croix Falls, WI.

She was born in St. Paul, MN on November 15, 1923 to parents, Harry and Zula (Webb) Weiss. She graduated from Murray High School and studied Art at Hamline University. She married Donald Plumley on August 20, 1947 and they were blessed with four children.

Marian was a telephone switchboard operator for AT&T. She and Donald raised their family in St. Paul - Como Park area before retiring to Lindstrom in 1984. She was a talented artist, singer, and pianist. Marian, a lover of cats and dogs, supported the Humane Society. She enjoyed playing cards, and was a keen Scrabble player too.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Zula; step-father Frank Beachwood; husband Donald Plumley; and brothers, Howard and Harold Weiss.

She is survived by her children Mark (Barb), Grant, Valerie (Paul) Herpst, and Glenn (Bonnie); grandchildren Jessica (Ryan) Hoag; Evan (Katie) Plumley, Garret (Kayla) Plumley; Colton Plumley; Blake Herpst, and Alissa (Jimmy) Leschke; and 11 great grandchildren.

Family will be having a private gathering at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Arnell Humane Society in Amery, WI.
