September 22 Lakes Area Police got a report from the Chisago Lakes Middle School staff who were told by a student about a “weapon” on a bus.  The incident appears to have been a student brought a multi-tool reportedly to trade for hot wheels type cars, according to preliminary findings.

Police were asked to look into an ordinance violation alleged against the property owner of a parcel on Liberty Lane, Chisago City, where storage units were placed with no permit.

September 21 Recovered two lawn mowers and a snowblower at the Little Lake public landing. All are Cub Cadet brand, new in appearance.  They were transported for storage.

September 19 Two students cited for vape devices at the Chisago Lakes middle school and one arrested for bringing marijuana onto middle school property.

September 18 Theft of a fish finder from an address on Mentzer Trail, Lindstrom.  Item located at a pawn shop and recovered and suspect identified.

An unusual number of domestic/family related calls over last week for Lakes Area. Also, people reporting concerns for living conditions of children, asking for follow-up on threats of suicide, and assault allegations, and tenant issues were up in volume.
